An Ideal Candidate would be:
- Reliable, positive and friendly.
- Must be 18 years of age and have reliable transportation.
- Prefer candidate to have prior food service experience.
- Experience making meals from scratch.
- Promotes positive public relations with guests
- Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment and detail oriented.
Job Duties to include but not limited to:
- Dust, mop, vacuum and provide all other general cleaning/housekeeping services including making beds, changing linens, preparing rooms for guests arrival as detailed on the cleaning checklist, washing and drying.
- Assisting with cleaning and sanitizing duties including bathrooms and common areas.
- Adapting meals to accommodate special needs (allergies and dietary restrictions)
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks at designated times. Clearing away, tidying and cleaning the kitchen and dining rooms including removal and disposal of garbage.
- Managing food inventory efficiently including perishable items and sell-by dates for non-perishables.
- Keeping dining chairs and tables, appliances, kitchen pots, pans and work surfaces clean and in good condition/working order at all times
- Ensuring refrigerators are clean and out-of-date items discarded
- Be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
- Have strong knowledge of food safety standards or be ServeSafe certified
- Maintain a clean orderly kitchen by helping with dishes and general clean up.
Compensation:
$15.00-$18.00 per hour, Depending on experience and availability,. We will consider both part-time and full-time applicants. Let us know your availability for first shift (ex: 7:00am-2:30pm) or second shift (2:30pm-9:00pm).
