Historic 700 Springs Ranch Headquarters, a pristine South Llano River and Head Springs studded 1200-acre property located on Highway 377 between Rocksprings and Junction, Texas, approximately five miles south of Telegraph, is seeking a dependable and experienced team to serve as a Ranch Maintenance & Guest Services Team.
This position is ideal for a hands-on team who takes pride in maintaining a well-kept ranch property and providing courteous, attentive service to ranch owners and guests.
The primary responsibilities of this position include property and facility maintenance, grounds care, equipment operation, vendor coordination, and limited guest services.

Primary Responsibilities
Lodge Grounds & Landscaping
- Maintain the lodge lawn, landscaping, and surrounding grounds in a neat and attractive condition.
- Perform routine mowing, trimming, watering, and general landscape maintenance.
- Monitor landscaping and grounds for maintenance irrigation needs.
Guest Services
- Assist with the preparation of the lodge and ranch facilities prior to guest arrivals.
- Assist guests with arrival and departure as needed.
- Provide friendly, professional, and courteous assistance to lodge guests.
- Help ensure that guest areas are clean, presentable, properly supplied, and ready for use.
- Promptly communicate guest needs, maintenance concerns, or other issues requiring attention.
Ranch & Property Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of ranch buildings, structures, roads, fences, gates, and other property improvements.
- Identify maintenance or repair needs and address routine items promptly.
- Assist with general repairs and preventive maintenance to keep ranch facilities in good working condition.
- Safely operate ranch equipment and tools necessary for property maintenance.
- Maintain ranch roads, grounds, and other outdoor areas as needed.
Supplies, Inventory & Administrative Duties
- Organize and neatly store equipment, supplies, and tools used on the ranch.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies, replacement parts, tools, and commonly used materials.
- Identify needed supplies and parts before shortages interfere with ranch operations.
- Collect ranch-related invoices, receipts, and other paperwork and forward them to the headquarters office in a timely manner.
- Maintain reasonable organization of ranch maintenance records, supplies, tools, and equipment.
Vendors & Property Services
- Coordinate, schedule, and monitor work performed by outside contractors and service providers.
- Provide access to vendors when necessary and confirm that requested work has been completed satisfactorily.
- Communicate significant maintenance or repair needs to Owner.
Qualifications & Job Requirements
The successful couple should be dependable, responsible, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while maintaining good communication with ranch ownership and management.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Prefer living and working in a rural environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, attractive, and well-organized property.
- Previous ranch, property, facility, or general maintenance experience.
- Experience with safely operating ranch equipment, machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- General knowledge of fence, road, grounds, building and rural property maintenance.
- Ability to recognize maintenance needs and take appropriate action.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous manner with guests.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Dependability and flexibility when ranch or guest needs require attention.
