Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Camp Balcones Springs, TX

Job Type: Full-Time (40 Hours per Week, Variable Schedule) Compensation: Competitive salary with benefits

Position Overview

Camp Balcones Springs is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Manager to help keep our camp and retreat facilities in top condition. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction, small machinery, and carpentry. Additional experience in plumbing, electrical work, welding, and irrigation is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities (possess a minimum of two skills below)

  • Manage a team of 5 individuals and participate and oversee projects, maintenance.
  • General Maintenance: Inspect and repair buildings, cabins, and common areas.
  • Basic Construction & Handy Work: Assist with carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
  • Plumbing & Electrical: Handle minor plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.
  • Irrigation & Landscaping: Maintain irrigation systems and assist with basic landscaping.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and ensure work meets camp standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in construction, small machinery, and boat motor maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix basic plumbing and electrical issues.
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
