For the position of Guide:
Applicants need to possess a positive can do attitude and be able to communicate clearly amidst a diverse spectrum of personalities. Seasons are as follows: 3 weeks in the spring 3/4 days, 6 weeks in the fall full days.
TROPHY DEER & TURKEY HUNTING
Part time position.
Applicants should have a positive attitude, be able to climb and traverse steep dense terrain, possess mechanical knowledge of farm equipment, and have a basic understanding of overall farm management.
Full time position: Mechanic/guide:
Applicants will need to have all of the following for this position:
- Applicants must have mechanical knowledge of farm equipment and implements.
- Applicant must possess positive can do attitude
- Applicants must be self motivated
- Applicants must have good communication skills
- Applicants must be able to perform all manners of farm related activities with out help.( you need to have experience )
- Applicants must be able to adapt and improvise to the continually changing environment and conditions of the farm.
- Applicants must proficient in basic farm equipment maintenance/care
- Applicant must have basic understanding of food plot care and maintenance.
- Applicants must be physically capable of walking over 10 miles per day with elevation changes of 300ft or greater in un even and tough terrain.
- Some seasons require 7 days a week work for up to 3 months depending on many factors, the days can run from 2 hours to 17 hours. Applicant must be able to perform at peak performance at all times and be highly approachable to clients.
- Applicant should possess all tools related to guiding both deer and turkey’s.
- Applicants should have or be willing to have social media platform to help advertise and share the company media.
- Applicants cannot be too good for a task period!. We don’t hire out the bad jobs WE do them.
- Applicants must be able to hang deer stands the Hang on type proficiently at or around 20ft up.
- Applicants must have good navigational skills.
- Forestry management skills/experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Last but not least applicants must be able and willing to learn and be teachable
