Private guest ranch in northwest Colorado is seeking a dependable, skilled mechanic/handyman to join our operations team. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical ability, practical maintenance experience and a willingness to help keep our property operating smoothly year-round.

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time position $60,000 salary

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair ranch vehicles, UTVs, tractors trailers and heavy equipment
• Preform basic diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs
• Handle general plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Assist with building maintenance, carpentry, painting, doors, windows, fixtures and small construction projects
• Maintain tools, shop areas, equipment and maintenance supplies
• Support ranch infrastructure needs including fences, gates, water systems and seasonal property projects
• Respond to maintenance issues in guest, staff and ranch facilities
• Work independently and as part of a small ranch team

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills required
• Heavy equipment knowledge strongly preferred
• Plumbing experience preferred
• General building maintenance or handyman experience required
• Welding, electrical, carpentry, or small engine experience a plus
• Must be reliable, self-motivated and able to work in a rural ranch environment
• Ability to lift, bend, climb and work outdoors in all seasons
• Valid drivers license required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
