Big Creek Plantation is a 3600-acre privately-owned, family operated plantation and retreat property located in beautiful Ocilla, Georgia. We are a private shooting facility and event venue, and you can learn more about us at: bigcreekplantation.com.

We are seeking an experienced General Manager / Plantation Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the property and lead our on-site teams with professionalism, accountability, and care.

The right General/Plantation Manager will have at least five years of successful, proven experience managing large plantations, resorts or destination properties. This experience can greatly benefit BCP in running this incredible private property with the structure and discipline of a business. He/she will be the on-site leader responsible for day-to-day oversight of all plantation operations, facilities, grounds, and staff. Hospitality experience is a big plus!

Proven ability coordinating staff, managing vendors, maintaining facilities and grounds, ensuring guest readiness, and responding to operational or emergency needs is required.

The right General/Plantation Manager will be a strong leader with excellent planning and client service skills. He/she will be goal-oriented, confident, and results-driven, with strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, financial acumen, delegation, ability to build trust, integrity, technology driven, and the ability to build effective systems and processes, among others. The ability to build strong relationships with owners, employees, clients/guests, and within the local community is required.
