Vincent D.
Army veteran, disciplined worker, and fast learner seeking an opportunity as a Ranch Hand, Wrangler Trainee, or general Cowboy position.
I’m looking for honest, meaningful work on a ranch anywhere in the Western U.S. I do not have previous horse or cattle experience, but I bring the work ethic, toughness, and discipline of a 7-year Army Infantry veteran with an overseas deployment, along with practical trade skills from two years as a plumbing apprentice.
What I Offer
- 7 years of Army Infantry experience — reliability, grit, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure
- Overseas deployment — leadership experience, calm under stress, disciplined, and mission-focused
- 2 years plumbing/apprentice experience — hands-on mechanical problem solving, tool handling, maintenance skills
- Strong physical stamina, comfort with long days and tough conditions
- Quick learning, ability to take instructions, respect for leadership and management
- No ego, willing to start at the bottom and build skills the right way
- Team-first attitude and willingness to do any job needed
What I’m Looking For
- A ranch willing to give a hardworking beginner a chance to learn the ropes
- Work in any capacity: general ranch hand, feed/maintenance help, fencing, plumbing/repair tasks, cleanup, seasonal help, livestock support, assisting wranglers
- Housing is preferred but not required, depending on location
- A place where effort, honesty, and discipline matter more than prior horse experience
About Me
I’m a reliable, respectful worker who shows up early, stays late, and gives 100%. I’m looking for real, honest, outdoor work, and I’m eagerly committed to learning horsemanship, cattle handling, ranch maintenance, and day-to-day operations from the ground up.
If you’re willing to teach, I’m ready to work. Available to start within the month and fully open to relocation.
Willing to relocate: Wyoming/ Montana/ Colorado/ New Mexico/ Idaho/ Arizona/ Texas/ Utah
