Following the retirement of our beloved cook of the past 18 years, Roseville Land Development Association’s Duck Club is seeking an experienced, reliable and self-motivated Seasonal Private Cook for the 2026-2027 Waterfowl Season.

The position runs from mid October 2026 through the end of January 2027. Hands on position for planning and preparing daily lunch and dinner service for club members, typically between 0 and 15 members per day, depending on attendance. Requires reliable transportation for traveling to grocery store to purchase food and supplies using our corporate account.

This is not a high volume resturant role, but rather a chance to cook meaningful, hearty, family-style meals for a grateful and welcoming 18 member club in Nothern California’s mild winter climate conditions. We have on-site RV space with Full Hook-Ups including water, sewer and electrical service included at no cost for candidates with their own RV. However, we will provide our own trailer for the right candidate, if needed.

Our kitchen has commercial style appliances, including a 2 year old commercial grade gas stove. Meals and utilities included in compensation. Holiday time off includes 2 days at Thanksgiving, 2 days at Christmas, and 1 day at News Years Day. Mileage is reimbursed for grocery runs. Living on site is required unless candidate lives in close proximity.

Salary: $2,500 to $4,000 per month depending on experience, plus a performance based potential season-ending bonus.
