Seeking an experienced caretaker for a ranch property in Aspen, Colorado. This property is a full-time residence of a small family, we are looking for at least a caretaker, but ideally a couple with one who can take care of the exterior work and one who can take care of the interior work.
Duties include :
All aspects of property maintenance, including irrigation, ditch maintenance, pond cleaning, trail management, building maintenance, simple handyman work, maintenance of home systems, plowing, fence management, gardening. We also have horses and are looking for somebody who can manage them, including riding them, exercising them, feeding, etc.
On the interior side (if this is for a couple), we are looking for somebody who can clean, cook, grocery shop, drive, run errands.
We do have on-site housing, but it is not large enough for family larger than 2, it is more appropriate for a couple or single.
We are looking for a couple who can take charge, and does not need to be micromanage – a couple who can figure things out when they don’t know how to do some thing. Also looking for people who are very proactive and don’t need to be told what to do.
Salary: $50,000 – $100,000 DOE
While we live here full-time, we also travel and would leave the property in your capable hands while we are gone.
