Ranch Employee needed for a privately owned ranch in Central Montana. We are roughly 30 miles away from the local town and about 1.5 hours to any major town. We are looking for an individual that understands the hours that are worked on a ranch and willing to be part of a team. The position will primarily be to oversee the irrigation and fencing projects but will also fill in working cattle.
A list of preferred skills for position:
- Pivot experience preferred
- Flood irrigation
- Water lines
- Welding and mechanic a plus
- Building new and repairing fence
- Computer competent
- Cattle work:
– – Feeding and doctoring cattle
– – Processing
– – Gathering on horses
– – Calving heifers and cows - Can do maintenance on equipment
- Current driver’s license
- Bilingual speaking preferred
Housing available.
Partial health insurance and 401k after trial period.
Must pass drug and background test.
