Mill Iron Ranches
Mill Iron Ranches is a cow/calf operation that also runs a commercial deer and quail hunting operation. Some farming is included in this operation as well.
Oversee all operation and maintenance of heavy equipment – maintainer, loader, backhoe, skid steer, tractors, etc.
Must have experience on a maintainer. Repair and maintenance of ranch roads is the first priority of the position.
Must have experience with light to moderate mechanical work on heavy equipment and pickups.
Must be able to weld (stick and wire).
Must be organized and tidy.
Farming (wheat), water well, and livestock experience would be greatly appreciated but can be taught.
We are looking for someone who cares about their work and is a team player. All of the positions on this ranch operate together to accomplish daily operation. Applicants for this position will be asked to be involved in maintenance operations of a working cattle ranch (roads, farming, fence repair and construction, well work and water line maintenance, etc.) Cattle work can be negotiated depending on experience.
