Ritchie Farms
Ranch/farm in north central Nebraska employee needed. Primary duties would include general livestock care, calving, feeding, animal health, A.I. help, fencing, haying, harvest, machinery care, etc.
We are a family farm/ranch, commercial Angus cow-calf operation. We also raise our own feed. Our facility has a large calving barn, a well-equipped shop, and newer farming equipment. We currently have 3 full time employees.
This is a permanent, full time position with hourly wages plus overtime. Experience in all phases of cattle care is a must and some machinery experience is preferred. All employees are on a rotating Sunday schedule. You must be able to follow directions, and work with others as well as on your own.
Permanent employees are offered vacation time, and beef and earned bonus. Other benefits available with long term employment. A high-school education and valid drivers license is required. We do not currently have ranch housing available, but we are 10 miles from 2 small towns with schools and 3 larger towns are nearby. Our operation is in northeast Custer County, Nebraska.
