Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Diagnose, repair, and service all ranch/hay equipment and vehicles (feed trucks, tractors, ATV’s, baler, swather, rake, dozer, excavator, grader, small equipment, flakers, TMR mixer, etc.)
- Ensure Mechanical Equipment is functioning properly
- Adjust mechanical equipment to ensure proper performance
- Repair damaged, defective, and worn-out mechanical parts
- Clean equipment, parts, or tools in order to maintain good working order
- Manage preventative maintenance on ALL equipment and vehicles
- Record and track all repairs and services performed on vehicles and equipment
- Fabrication and building of corrals and fence
- Feed cows/calves through the winter
- Operate heavy equipment (telehandlers, loaders, grader, dozer, etc.)
- Operate hay equipment (baler, rake, swather)
Requirements:
- Mechanic Experience with Farm and Ranch Equipment
- Drug-Free
- Background Check
- Good organizational skills
- Team Player
- Ability to lift 100 pounds
