South Texas cattle ranch is seeking a foreman with excellent skills to develop into manager.
Responsibilities on this cow/calf operation include :
- Providing all feed and supplements to all livestock
- Tagging and pairing new calves with dam
- Rotational grazing and movement of herds to new areas.
- Construction and movement of electric fencing.
- Weaning and Development of new heifers and bulls.
- Marketing stock being offered for sale.
- Care and maintenance of all improvements
- Low stress cattle management experience needed
- Operation and maintenance of all equipment and vehicles
- Good work ethic and communication skills required.
- Ability to make typical repairs necessary.
