Oversee all duties (possible management) of 550-head registered cow/calf operation (SimAngus, Angus & Balancer) at Mound City, SD. Duties would include winter calving (new barn/camera system), monitoring herd health, record keeping, pasture rotation, haying, fencing, maintaining equipment and feeding. The calves are moved to the main ranch for weaning and backgrounding. Duties in the fall may include some truck driving for harvest.

We are willing to train in some areas, but past experience with cattle is required for this position. Ranch work is done using horses and ATV’s.
