Shadder Ranch
We are looking for a Farm/Handyman. Someone who knows how to work with horses.
Job duties would include:
- cleaning stalls
- pasturing horses
- feeding horses
- cleaning water buckets and giving fresh water
- Farm maintenance/upkeep of barns, grounds, feed rooms
- able to buck hay, harrowing arenas
- able to work independently and efficiently
- be able to work with approximately 15 horses
- get along with horse owners
In exchange for work we have a 1 bedroom studio apartment, full kitchen and bath. Utilities would also be included on site on a gated ranch. We are looking for 1 person or possibly a retired couple. No Pets allowed, due to wildlife surrounding the farm. If a secondary job is needed please mention this, owners are willing to work with a secondary job since this will be a job share with another ranch hand.
This is at the minimum an 8hr job, We do request non smokers or no drug use on the farm, we try to keep it family orientated since the tenants are in and out all day long.
