Ranch outside Livingston, Montana looking for full time hand.
This ranch is a unique blend of agriculture and the outdoors. We look after the ranch in a manner that preserves both aspects. We are always looking for ways to improve the ranch that will benefit both agricultural and wildlife.
With both agricultural and wildlife, it makes this job have a wide variety of tasks. The ideal candidate would have ranch/agricultural background but also have knowledge and enjoyment for the outdoors.
Tasks would include but not limited to: Haying, Farming, Weed Control, Irrigation, Fence Maintenance, Brush Removal, Road Maintenance, Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance, General Ranch Duties, etc. Cattle and Horse knowledge is a plus but not required (We do not own cattle). Candidate must be self-starter and capable of conducting physical labor in all weather conditions as well as working alone. Valid driver’s license is required as well as passing a background check. Must hold a high school diploma. Nonsmoking.
