Full-time, permanent position available with remodeled 4 bed / 2 bath house (utilities included) and competitive salary. Winter-spring calving 180 first calf heifers and cows total, summer responsibilities are alfalfa haying, feeding animals, some rental house maintenance year round. Equipment and mechanical and welding abilities required.
Calving begins in mid December with first calf heifers.
Irrigation with center pivots and side rolls. Self-propelled swather, rake, tractors, loaders, 3×4 and 4×4 balers knowledge are all required. Majority of the responsibilities revolve around haying, but you do have cows for ~4 months of the year.

IF YOU CAN CALVE, BUT AREN’T THAT EXPERIENCED WITH HAYING, WE ARE WILLING TO COACH YOU ON THE HAYING AS LONG AS YOU’RE ABLE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND ASK QUESTIONS INSTEAD OF BREAKING EQUIPMENT BECAUSE YOU DON’T HAVE A CLUE.
If you can’t survive without your phone, this probably isn’t the position for you. There is service, but we expect you to be focused on your job especially when we have things going on.
School bus route goes by the ranch if you have a family to send to school. Only 10-15 minutes to town, but not far away from amenities either.
We are looking for a self starter with your own self motivation, respectful and prideful in your work, who is dependable and honest. No drugs. No indoor pets preferably. Can have 1-2 horses with feed supplied as long as they are usable. Families are more than welcome to apply – come join our team for the long run!
