Primary Responsibilities: Cattle handling, sorting, and herd health observation. Assisting with all aspects of hay production (cutting, raking, baling, stacking). Operating and maintaining modern/older farm and ranch equipment. Diagnosing and performing mechanical repairs as needed. Fencing, facility maintenance, and general ranch upkeep.
Qualifications: Several years of hands-on experience in cow/calf operations required. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently. Proven ability to operate tractors, balers, swathers, and other haying equipment. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Good decision-making skills and attention to detail in livestock care.
Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus.
