Are you passionate about the great outdoors, livestock care, and ensuring the smooth operation of a ranch? We are seeking an honest, hard-working and reliable self-starter to join our team as a Ranch/Farm Hand. If you have experience in cattle handling, farming, fence building, welding, and heavy equipment operation, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Feed and maintain healthy cow herds, including vaccinations, calving, and sorting.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as John Deere tractors, planters, hay rakes, balers, shredders, sprayers, skid steers, track loaders, and dump trucks as needed.
- Perform fence building and repair, including gates, braces, and welding.
- Operate chainsaws, ATVs, and hauling trailers.
- Ensure upkeep of all ranch properties, including fields, hay pastures, buildings, and cattle pens.
Qualifications:
- Experience in ranching, livestock care, maintenance, and mechanic work is essential.
- Must pass a background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Good character, ethics, honesty, and effective communication skills are a must.
Additional Requirements:
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Willingness to listen, take instruction, learn, and apply experience to tasks at hand.
- Treat the land and livestock as if it were your own.
