Our Ranch is currently looking to hire two positions for Ranch Hand/ Facilities / Maintenance.
First, I don’t want to give the wrong impression. You will not be involved with livestock other than a few sheep and 20 chickens. We are a private ranch with an equine program operated by the owner. The program travels to shows 6 months of the year but your position is not with the equine group.
You would be a valuable part of the stay-at-home team, who does all aspects of repair, maintenance and logistics of the ranch to make the Equine program a success. Repair of fence, repair of appliances, repair of rolling stock, equipment and plumbing. There are 8 live on staff homes (not housing) that are always in need of work, just like any home.
We are looking for a pleasant person to be around and someone who enjoys life and wants to come to work each day. If you can bring skills that would be a plus. If you are someone who finds himself jumping from job to job or unhappy anywhere you go, then this is not for you. We work hard and enjoy each day we have. We want our employees to come with a smile and willing to learn anything.
You will have the opportunity to learn different jobs and duties each day, irrigation, plumbing, carpentry, and many others.

We are located in NW Washington state, in January we can get 20 plus inches or rain. We work outside rain or shine, bring your rubber boots. We mow the grass, rain or shine, this job can be demanding but is very rewarding.
