The ranch is located in the upper Madison River Valley of southwestern Montana, about 30 miles south of Ennis. The ranch encompasses approximately 25,000 acres of deeded land and grazing leases. The owners are committed to conservation and improving the health of the land for wildlife and livestock through responsible grazing management.

The ranch seasonally leases its grass resources for the grazing of stocker cattle. The grazing season is carefully planned out each season to accommodate forage resources consumed by wildlife and to improve the range health through animal impact. Extensive herding is also used to achieve grazing objectives.

The ranch operates as a private retreat for the owners, their friends, family, and guests. The ranch has numerous houses, cabins, and a lodge used to house and entertains guests. The vast landscape provides numerous outdoor activities including guided horseback rides, hunting, fishing, photo safari, hiking, camping, and sport shooting.
