Chicaro Heritage Farms is committed to homestead/regenerative ranching that takes into account an understanding of the land’s natural resources with a priority of building soil health through rotational grazing. Our goal is to work in harmony with nature to produce healthy food and combat climate change.
Primary duties include: 1) Routine maintenance and repairs of tractors, machinery, barns, corrals, fences, etc. 2) Rotationally graze and care for specialty homestead cattle. 3) Irrigate pastures with big reel irrigation systems. (Ranch consists of 250 deeded acres and 845 state lease acres.)
Our mission is to build a healthier environment and produce healthier food, using regenerative agricultural methods. An inquisitive mind, willingness to work hard and long when necessary, cooperative attitude and commitment to our mission are important.
