
Oso Ranch
Individuals who apply to work as ranch hands should expect strenuous outdoor activity and physical workdays.
Typical daily duties include keeping the grounds attractive, basic maintenance of buildings, basic vehicle upkeep, grooming the roads, cleaning porches, building/maintaining fences, and other projects needed to be completed on the property.
Other responsibilities include:
Clean, maintain, repair, and organize the barn, stalls, and surrounding areas.
Perform general ground maintenance tasks around the ranch, such as mowing, weed control, raking, snow removal, trash removal, and landscaping.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in a ranch setting.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions that occur in the Colorado plains (snow, wind, rain, and heat).
Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally to lift and or move up to 100 pounds.
Possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable form of transportation.
Must possess basic mechanical skills to service and repair tools and equipment as needed.
Able and willing to cross-train in all ranch operations.
Must be self-motivated, dependable, and loyal.
Pass a background check.
Available to work Saturdays and Sundays (if needed).
Individuals are expected to be orderly in conduct and courteous to guests and residents.
Full time 40+ hours.
