Seeking a dependable, experienced and trustworthy ranch hand for a 3,000 acre family horse and cattle ranch located in Palo Pinto County, Texas. Opportunity to work with and be a part of a great operation with growth potential in responsibility based on performance with cow/calf operation as well as cutting horse operation. Experience is required but positive attitude, great worth ethic, and team player mentality are a must.
Workdays are Wednesday to Sunday for three weeks a month and Monday to Friday for one week a month with the weekend off. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: feeding horses, mucking horse stalls, working cattle, mowing, building and repairing fences, dragging arena, driving tractor, baling hay, changing filters and oil, painting and minor repair work, roping horses, hauling horses and cows, and maintain farm equipment and vehicles clean and repaired, along with general ranch maintenance.
Must undergo background and credit check prior to hire.
