Private ranch in Western WY seeking a full-time, year-round ranch hand. On-property housing can be arranged for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: building and repairing fence, weed and pasture management, daily feeding and care of horses, maintaining buildings, waterlines, corrals and trailers, operating and servicing ranch machinery, and assisting the owner with hosting business events. Experience working or training horses is a plus.
Must have 2+ years of ranch, farm or agricultural experience, be confident handling horses, have fencing experience, and be able to operate and maintain a tractor, skid steer and UTV. Mechanically capable, able to diagnose and fix problems without supervision, and hold a valid driver’s license. Trailer towing experience preferred.
Dependable, self-directed, safety-conscious and keen to grow. Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working early mornings and weekends as required. Interest in archery, hunting, snowmobiling and motocross strongly preferred.
Competitive pay based on experience.
