We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated individual to join our ranch operation in South-Central Oklahoma.
This is a general ranch hand position involving a wide variety of daily ranch responsibilities. While horseback work will be required occasionally, this is NOT a full-time cowboy position.
Job Responsibilities:
- General ranch maintenance and upkeep
- Operating tractors, skid steers, and other ranch equipment
- Brush hogging, mowing, and pasture maintenance
- Repairing fences
- Welding and general ranch repairs
- Working and handling cattle as needed
- Occasional horseback work
- Other day-to-day ranch duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous ranch or agricultural experience preferred
- Must be comfortable operating and maintaining equipment
Must have basic to intermediate welding skills and be capable of making solid, dependable repairs. Welding certification is NOT required.
- Basic mechanical skills are a plus
- Must be dependable, motivated, and able to work independently
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and do whatever needs to be done
- Horseback experience preferred but not the primary focus of the position
Compensation & Benefits
- $40,000 annual salary
- House provided with utilities paid
- $500 per month health insurance stipend
- Ranch truck provided for ranch use
