A premier Trophy Whitetail Ranch and Cattle Operation is seeking an experienced, hardworking, and trustworthy couple to serve as our on-site General Management Team.
This is a unique opportunity for a couple who enjoys ranch life and is willing to take pride in every aspect of the operation. One person will primarily oversee ranch, livestock, and property operations, while the other will assist with housekeeping, guest accommodations, meal preparation, and ranch support duties. Both individuals should be willing to help wherever needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Ranch & Livestock Management
- Assisting with animal handling, working cattle, breeding activities, and health treatments
- Operating and maintaining ranch equipment
- Fence, water system, feeder, and facility maintenance
- Supervising ranch employees and coordinating daily activities
- Property security and oversight
Hospitality & Ranch Support
- Housekeeping of lodge, cabins, and guest accommodations
- Assist in guiding hunts
- Meal preparation for ranch guests and hunters
- Inventory management (CattleMax software) and organization
- Ensure safe, clean, and organized work environments across the ranch
Qualifications
- Previous ranch, livestock agricultural, or wildlife experience preferred
- Experience working cattle, whitetail deer and handling livestock
- Knowledge of herd health, breeding practices, and pasture management
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be dependable and able to work long days as needed
Housing & Ranch Policies
- Furnished on-site apartment provided.
- Position is best suited for an individual or ‘preferably’ a couple.
- Personal dogs and pets are generally not permitted due to the whitetail breeding operation.
- The ranch is not equipped to accommodate employee-owned horses or livestock.
- Candidates should be comfortable living and working within these operational requirements.
