Nestled along the scenic Salmon River near White Bird, Idaho, C4 Ranch and Lodge is a premier hunting and outdoor adventure destination offering luxury lodging and guided big game hunts.
Ranch Manager/Caretaker/Cook:
Looking to hire someone (or a couple) to manage an 8,000+ acre ranch in White Bird Idaho. The applicant would act as caretaker, cook, house-cleaner and manager of the property, which consists of the main house, caretaker residence and ranch land.
The main duties of the job are providing house cleaning and maintenance on a regular basis, turning over rooms when guests check out (laundry, making beds, cleaning bathrooms/toilets/floors etc.), keeping common areas neat and clean. The ability to cook upscale casual and handle all aspects of the kitchen (cleanliness and organization are a must).
This is not a 9-5 job and can require long days during hunting season. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, energetic, able to work independently and is customer service oriented. A ranch vehicle will be provided.
Work Requirements include:
- House Cleaning and maintenance
- Cooking
- Equipment knowledge and maintenance is a plus
- Making suggestions and recommendations to the owner regarding maintenance and enhancements to the property
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail a must
- Flexibility to work weekends during hunt season (September-November)
- Valid Drivers License in good standing
- English language fluent (verbal and written)
- Trustworthy
List of Tasks including but not limited to:
- Preparing Breakfast and Dinner during hunt season (May, Sept-Nov) as needed
- Preparing lunch to-go in the morning
- Ordering food ingredients and food storage organization
- Keeping common areas clean and tidy
- Cleaning rooms and bathrooms
- Laundry
