Private ranch looking for full-time, year-round, live-on caretaker/ranch manager in rural Colorado. 300 acres near Gunnison, Co surrounded by BLM.
Responsibilities include maintenance of 3 dwellings, a large workshop and barn. Two irrigated pastures. General household maintenance, upkeep, repair and cleaning. Manicured lawn upkeep. Road, pond, and river maintenance. No livestock currently but could be added in future.
A combination of general mechanic, construction, and agricultural experience required. Backhoe, tractor, and vehicle operation/maintenance required.
Looking for someone with initiative who is a self-starter with ability to research problems for a solution.
Benefits package. Full-time housing available on ranch. References required. Salary based on experience.
