Lead Ranch Manager Position
A working cattle ranch located in Montague Texas, started in 1970. The Manager has to know and understand cattle well. This includes branding, vaccinating, and daily cattle check of over 300 head. This person has to have experience working with cattle. The ranch is over 4k acres under one fence. The cattle are worked using 4 wheelers and horses.
Job responsibilities include working alongside the ranch owner with daily communication regarding ranch topics. Working with USDA. Understanding of rotational grazing. Other responsibilities include understanding how to operate tractors and backhoes, loading and pulling trailers, fixing roads, fences and working with select vendors and veterinarians.
The job includes a home on site, a truck, horses, and 4 wheeler. Must be able to pass a drug test and have a clean driving record. Position immediate. We are a currently women-owned and operated cattle ranch. Thank you.
