Work Activities:
Will perform a wide variety of farm and ranch tasks, including calving, irrigating, haying, fencing, farming, working cattle, ranch work, mechanic work, and equipment repair. Duties also include general maintenance and upkeep, operation of some farm and heavy equipment, and other related activities.
Ranch mechanic duties include routine servicing of pickups, tractors, loaders, trailers, four-wheelers, and other ranch machinery; troubleshooting mechanical issues; performing preventive maintenance; completing repairs in a timely manner; monitoring equipment condition; and coordinating with outside service providers when major repairs are needed.

Work Schedule:
The usual work schedule is 5 1/2 days per week, except during calving, haying, and similar periods when the workload may increase.
Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a valid driver’s license. Some related farm and/or ranch experience is required. Mechanical experience, such as servicing, maintaining, or repairing ranch equipment, vehicles, or machinery, is preferred.
Applicants should be self-starters who work productively without direct supervision, work effectively with others, have good problem-solving skills, are willing to work flexible hours as needed, and are willing to work outdoors in occasional harsh weather conditions.
Compensation:
Entry monthly wage is dependent on experience and your knowledge, skills, and abilities
