Western Montana Ranch is looking for someone that enjoys ranch living but has a knack for mechanics, equipment maintenance and repair, enjoys operating equipment to put up hay, build and maintain roads, etc. Ability to drive a semi proficiently, hauling hay and equipment, is preferred.

The right candidate will have an eye for detail, like a clean orderly work place and be a competent operator. Primary duties will include being responsible for routine maintenance on all ranch vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, tractors, semis, etc. Cleaning and upkeep is high priority. All equipment is newer and kept in exceptional working order.

The ranch puts up about 4,000 tons of hay into 4×4 big square bales. 7 center pivots, 4 wheel-lines and numerous flood irrigated meadows produce the hay. While this position isn’t primarily focused on the livestock side, there is ample opportunity to assist in processing events. This position would require daily feeding of cattle in Winter.
