Willow Creek Ranch & Perfect Light Ranch
Willow Creek Ranch & Perfect Light Ranch, in Livingston Montana, is currently seeking a highly motivated team employee. This position would begin April 19th and go until September 2nd. If the employee shows a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and is a team player the position will become full-time.
The ranches sit just north of Livingston, Montana and make up 25,000 acres of agriculture, recreation and wildlife habitat. These ranches are managed for recreation and wildlife using sound agricultural and wildlife management practices. All cattle grazing and haying is leased to adjacent landowner, and they take care of all duties related to the lease.
Responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
- Wildlife plots prep and planting
- Water source improvements
- Fence improvements (not high fence)
- Habitat enhancement
- Irrigation
- Crop land work
- Road work and maintenance
- Weed spraying
- Timber thinning
- Boundary line maintenance
- Building construction and maintenance
- Equipment operation and maintenance
- Small engine operation and repair
- General mechanic skills
- Welding
- Electrical
- Landscaping and Lawn care
- Must have experience with operating Tractors, 4-Wheelers and Power tools
There are 5 full time employees and we all work as a team sharing responsibility. All work is expected to be completed efficiently and to the highest quality. Our top priority is to make sure the owner and his guests are happy, and have an enjoyable experience at the ranch, so high social skills are needed.
This job will start at $750 per week based on a 45hr work week (M-F). There may be times that work will be needed on weekends. There are 7 paid holidays. Housing with all utilities is provided on the ranch, and health insurance is offered when position becomes full time. Salary will be increased if moved to full time along with paid vacation and year end performance bonus. Ranch vehicles are provide during work hours. Must have valid driver’s license and must be willing to take a drug test before starting employment.
This is not an entry level position; a strong skill set in aforementioned responsibilities is required.
