A premier Trophy Whitetail Ranch and Cattle Operation is seeking a mature, experienced, and trustworthy couple — hardworking, good with people, and ready to put down roots.

This is a unique opportunity for a couple who enjoys ranch life and is willing to take pride in every aspect of the operation. One person will primarily oversee ranch, livestock, and property operations, while the other will assist with housekeeping, guest accommodations, meal preparation, and ranch support duties. Both individuals should be willing to help wherever needed.

A word about the pace: this is a working ranch that stays busy all year — hunting season, cattle work, guest and fishing rentals, and ranch events all run together. Some days are long, hours can be irregular when guests are on the ranch, and plans can change quickly.

That’s why we’re building a team with real depth — enough good people that no one carries the place alone, and everyone, this couple included, can take real time off without stress. The couple who thrives here works hard, helps wherever needed, and looks out for the rest of the team.

Responsibilities Include:

Ranch & Livestock Management

  • Daily care and observation of whitetail deer and cattle
  • Assisting with animal handling, working cattle, breeding activities, and health treatments
  • Operating and maintaining ranch equipment
  • Fence, water system, feeder, and facility maintenance
  • Supervising ranch employees and coordinating daily activities
  • Property security and oversight

Hospitality & Ranch Support

  • Housekeeping of lodge, cabins, and guest accommodations
  • Meal preparation for ranch guests, hunters, and special events as needed
  • Assisting with guest services and ranch events
  • Inventory management and organization
  • Supporting ranch operations year-round

Qualifications

  • Previous ranch, livestock, agricultural, or wildlife experience preferred
  • Experience working cattle and handling livestock
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Good with people — works well with owners, staff, and guests, and keeps an even temper when plans change
  • Sharp and capable — quick to learn, thinks ahead, and solves problems as they come up
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean background
  • Comfortable living and working in a rural ranch environment
  • Non-smoking; drug-free workplace

Compensation

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • On-site housing provided
  • Utilities included
  • Opportunity for long-term employment with a growing operation
