Located in the central Lower Peninsula, Meemo’s Farm is an established premier wing-shooting lodge and corporate retreat.
Job Overview:
Responsible to: Head Chef
You will be part of a small team of 4; the Chef at Meemos Farm plays a critical role in our guests’ experience. We are looking for a person who is passionate about cooking and providing a pleasurable dining experience with the ability to work long hours. The Chef should also have the desire and ability to professionally interact and socialize with the guests when not busy in the kitchen.
The position is seasonal, beginning on or near September 10th and will end on or near November 15th.
Compensation $30 per hour , on-site housing, and gratuities.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for guests (8 – 30 people)
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
- Experience in Fine Dining is beneficial
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to work long hours
- Minimum of 3 years working as Chef/ Sous Chef.
