Red Rock Ranch

Seasonal guest ranch outside of Jackson Hole is looking for a Chef for our 2026 guest season: Late May – late-August/closing. We have a full commercial kitchen and provide 3 meals/day for ~30-60 people (staff and guests).
The person for this position will need to have had previous professional cooking experience. The specific duties will be the hands-on production/cooking and oversight of all three meals for up to 40 guests and 20 crew, BBQ’s, plated gourmet dinners and all food-related items for the ranch.
This is a true hands-on working position, you will have a Prep Cook and a Dishwasher.
You will be in charge of ordering food, budgeting, and inventory. A proven “teacher” and guest service attitude is required, team-oriented, driven work ethic, maintaining quality standards, ability to work well with others as well as an adaptive personality are also needed for this job. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining a strict and cleanly kitchen environment according to Teton County Health and ServSafe standards, work with our US Food Rep for ordering within the ranch budget, thrive in an upbeat, busy, and very close-knit and remote environment. Candidates must be able to: consistently plan and provide a creative “western” culinary experience for our guests, provide beneficial training and management/leadership for kitchen staff (sous chef, servers, dishwasher) and set the example of punctuality, emotional stability, and consistency to the Red Rock Ranch culinary team.
Quality food production is of the utmost importance, we have a high standard of excellent cuisine that will be met. You will be directly responsible for cooking and managing your staff, this is a true working chef position.
We are a family-owned and operated guest ranch and private event venue that has been in operation for almost 50 years. We strive to provide our Guests with an authentic western experience. We are situated ~15 miles from Kelly, WY, and ~20 miles from Jackson Hole surrounded by beautiful wilderness and national forest.
Salary DOE – gratuity, room and board included (private room, shared bath with one other employee).
