Seasonal camp cook needed for high end trophy elk ranch in western Colorado.
Modern comfortable accommodations with private room included. Lodge Kitchen has gas appliances and electricity. Lodge includes all the modern conveniences. Not a wilderness/tent camp situation, but you are 2 hours from town so must be organized and able to improvise as needed.
Duties include preparing 3 meals a day for up to 20 guests, preparing menus, shopping lists, organizing pantry, meal service, and clean up as well as keeping kitchen clean. This is a high end camp and menu needs to reflect that. Some experience with hunting lodge type situation is preferred but not absolutely necessary.
Must have good people skills and work ethic. You can plan on early morning and late nights. A self starting, and motivated individual is needed.
There is a camp host who helps with food service, cleaning and sous chef duties.
Pay starts at $200/day plus tips and is negotiable based on experience, will consider hiring a team (2) if it is the right situation.
