Are you a military veteran looking to get a job in the ranching industry? Bear Hug Cattle Company is a 10 week skill building program in Montana where we teach veterans the basics of ranching, stockmanship, and horsemanship to help them start their career in the ranching industry.

This program is a difficult hands on learning course, meaning there will be long days filled with riding, fencing, branding, weeding, roping, and other duties as assigned.

This program is free of cost to veterans, and is best fit for those with little to no experience in the ranching industry who are looking to start a career in ranching as soon as the program is complete. This summer program will run from June 2027-August 2027.
