Wilderness Ridge Adventures in Torrey, Utah is hiring Guides and a Guide Manager for the upcoming season to lead horse trail rides and llama treks near Capitol Reef National Park.
In this active, outdoor role, you will be responsible for guest safety, trail guiding, daily ranch chores, and herd care (feeding, grooming, and handling) for both our horse and llama herds. The Manager role requires additional leadership to supervise staff and run daily operations, as well as mandatory large animal husbandry skills to actively diagnose and care for both herds.
We are looking for team players with general animal skills—while prior horse or llama experience is desired, it is not required, though a strict willingness to learn both is mandatory. Candidates must also have a passion for hospitality, a food handler’s permit, the ability to commit to our full season from March 1st to October 31st, and must possess a CPR or Wilderness First Responder certification by the start of the season.
Double-occupancy housing with a shared kitchen is available as part of the compensation package for the right candidates.
