Large, diversified commercial cow/calf operation in northern South Dakota is looking to add a couple different positions. One position would be a more advanced, higher skilled guy, while the other could be more of an entry level position.
We have some of the nicest facilities and equipment anywhere. Newer model Deere and Cat equipment. Heated shops, and cattle working facilities that are indoors and new pipe corrals.
This is not a cowboy job. No calving responsibilities. We do not use horses. All work is done off side by side or 4 wheeler. In all actuality, the ideal candidates may be more mechanical/machinery inclined.
We do a little bit of everything, from cattle working facilities, to haying, fencing, dirt work, etc.
Pay will depend on experience and skillset. But, this is a job that will for sure pay above what would be considered “average”. I do ask that every person who wants to be considered submit a resume and references. Housing is provided. I do ask that no pets inside the houses. These are nicer, newer houses that I prefer be taken care of.
If you are a hard worker, that wants to be treated well, I would like a chance to see if we could be a good fit. You will not find yourself running 18 hour days. We work as smart as we can so that everyone gets home to their wives and kids. I am leaving out quite a bit, but would be more than happy to answer questions. Thanks!
