We are accessible by vehicle in summer, but must be willing to snowmobile in/out in winter. This is a full-time, permanent position and we are looking for a long-term commitment. We work a lot, but also enjoy ample opportunity to “get out” into the adjacent wilderness and USFS lands to pursue all the activities those areas provide.

A working knowledge of the following is preferred: Electrical, carpentry, plumbing, vehicle maintenance and appliances. Also, candidate must be willing and able to assist with the daily upkeep, cleaning and care of the lodge such as snow removal, landscaping, hauling garbage, cutting firewood, trail clearing / maintenance, painting, etc.

Optional skills that would be a bonus: Experience with back country activities such as camping, hiking, hunting and fishing; mountain biking; back country skiing; Western trail riding; Horse packing; Food service / preparation; knowledge or experience w/ renewable energy systems.

Position #2: Cooking/Housekeeping/Office:
Ideal Candidate will be an upbeat “People person” with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work all day and perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, etc. They must have solid experience and knowledge in meal preparation and food handling (commercial or large group experience is a bonus, but we are willing to train); basic knowledge of computers, customer service and housekeeping / cleaning.

Responsibilities / Duties: Prepare quality, upscale meals for guests; Welcome any visitors or guests that may come to lodge; Answer phones & take reservations when managers are unavailable; Assist in keeping lodge and kitchen clean; Clean cabins as needed; Serve meals and run POS system. Other tasks as needed to promote the smooth operation and friendly atmosphere of the lodge.

Requirements of Employer:
