Cedar Cove Ranch
We are looking to hire a motivated, passionate individual in the role of Hunting Guide / Hospitality Assistant to join our company Cedar Cove Ranch (www.CedarCoveRanch.com). In this role, your duties will include coordinating daily hunting operations, and hospitality, working with other staff members and General Manager / Hunting Ops Manager, and adhering to a high level of customer service.
If you do not have previous experience working at a ranch, or hunting lodge in Operations, you may not be the right fit for this position.
To ensure success in this role, you should have an exceptional understanding of the hospitality and Hunting industry and display an aptitude for excellence in customer service. Ultimately, a top-notch candidate should have excellent managerial skills, and focused on executing and providing high class service.
This position can be one person OR two different opportunities, based on qualifications.
Position 1 – Hunting Guide + Hospitality Staff
Position 2 – Assistant Hospitality + Chef
General (required)
- Guiding Hunts
- Upkeep of the blinds/stands
- Coordinating and leading activities such as shooting sports, water activities, UTV rides, fishing and more!
- Attending to any needs of guests in a professional and timely manner.
- Working with the General Manager / Hunting Ops Manager to ensure ranch needs and guest needs are taken care of
- Grounds management
- Game camera upkeep
- Fenceline management and upkeep
- Wildlife management
- Food Plot / Feeders management and upkeep
- Support small projects / improvements
- Ensure all amenities and Housekeeping are maintained at the highest standards
- Checking the quantity and quality of supplies and equipment on a daily basis
- Support other guest services – family retreats, corporate retreats, weddings and such
- Cooking (prefered, If able to cook for guests, high preference will be given)
Requirements:
- Successful and clear Background Check
- At least 3 years of experience working in the hospitality / Hunting industry
- Exceptional knowledge of standard hospitality practices and procedures
- Fishing and other shooting sports experience
- Hunting operations and guiding experience required
- Ability to be proactive, lead, motivate, and communicate with staff members.
- The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of customer service and the ability to resolve conflict in a calm and professional manner.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Hunting Grounds/Blinds/Equipment: 2 years (Required)
- Hospitality : 2 years (Preferred)
- Guiding: 3 years (Required)

Job requires hard work and long hours during busy times. Weekends are most critical for this job, but can be balanced with other staff. Need someone with do whatever it takes attitude.
Salary: $30,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
