Sous Chef:

Reports To: Head Chef

Pay Range: $20-$22 /hr

General Responsibilities:

The Sous Chef prioritizes hospitality that goes above and beyond for guests. This person is responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the organization and preparation of meals as well as the day-to-day care, and cleanliness of the kitchen, food storage areas and food preparation and serving equipment. The Sous Chef helps to lead, manage, and hold the kitchen staff accountable.

The Bar W prioritizes safety so operating and acting with safety as a priority is crucial.

Cook Duties:

Work with the Head Chef on menus, staff scheduling, food ordering and procurement, food costs, and inventory tracking
Follow and train proper sanitation and safety practices
Follow and train kitchen SOP’s to staff
Plan, cook, and direct food preparation and culinary activities as assigned
Help with kitchen and dining room clean up and dishes as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Cook

Reports To: Head Chef/Assistant Head Chef

Pay Range: $18-$20 /hr

General Responsibilities:

The cook prioritizes hospitality that goes above and beyond for guests. This individual is responsible for the organization and preparation of meals as well as the day-to-day care and cleanliness of the kitchen, food storage areas and food preparation and serving equipment.

The Bar W prioritizes safety so operating and acting with safety as a priority is crucial.

Cook Duties:

Report issues, needs, and questions to the Head Chef or the Assistant Head Chef
Follow and monitor sanitation and safety practices
Follow kitchen SOP’s
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities as needed.
Instruct other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
Help with kitchen and dining room clean up and dishes as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

The Baker prioritizes hospitality that goes above and beyond for guests. This individual helps in the food production, cleaning, and operation of the kitchen and dining area.  

The Bar W prioritizes safety so operating and acting with safety as a priority is crucial.

Cook Duties:

Report to Head Chef or Assistant Head Chef for baking, desserts, sack lunches, and other prep needs
Follow sanitation and safety practices in the kitchen
Follow kitchen SOP’s
Instruct other workers helping with baking, desserts, or sack lunches
Help with kitchen and dining room clean up and dishes as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Kitchen Assistants prioritize hospitality that goes above and beyond. The kitchen assistant works with the cooks to ensure the timely preparation of all meals as well of clean-up of the kitchen and dining areas.

The Bar W prioritizes safety so operating and acting with safety as a priority is crucial.

Kitchen Assistant Duties:

Assist the cooks with food preparation and culinary activities.
Responsible for cleaning and dishes
Help with dining area clean up
Help with stocking food and products
Assist with the preparation, set up and take down and clean up of outdoor dining experiences.
Other duties as assigned.
